Luke is a multifaceted professional with a remarkable career spanning 30 years of scuba instruction, filmmaking, photography, and exploration. Renowned for his expertise, Luke has contributed extensively to prestigious projects such as BBC’s Planet Earth 3 and Netflix’s Our Planet 2, showcasing his skills in underwater cinematography. His work extends beyond documentaries to include Hollywood Movies, editorial shoots and advertising campaigns, notably for brands like Fourth Element and PADI.

Luke holds top certifications from PADI, IANTD, TDI & DAN, and others, reflecting his dedication to safety and proficiency in both recreational and technical diving. His achievements include pioneering dives and scientific expeditions, including a significant dive to 118m in the Sea of Cortez, which earned him the prestigious Fellowship of The Explorers Club in New York.

Luke is the proud owner and operator of The Dive Gurus, the premier PADI 5-Star Instructor Development Centre in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico. Through his business, he not only trains future divers but also champions ocean conservation. Luke passionately believes in the transformative power of scuba diving to foster a deeper understanding of marine ecosystems and promote sustainable interactions with wildlife.

In recognition of his expertise, Luke was invited to serve as a judge and underwater expert for the Comedy Wildlife Awards in 2022. Looking ahead, he is actively pursuing certification as a GUE Instructor, further expanding his role in diving education and exploration.
